The Plumbing Contractors Association was founded in 1952, our first President was Mr. Alexander Orr, III, Vice- President Mr. H.L. Robertson and Secretary W.L. Pennell. The nature and objects of the Association: 1.) The sponsorship of more modern, adequate and safe plumbing 2.) the advancement of sanitation and the education of the public concerning sanitation. 3.) The continuance of satbilityu in employer-employee relations in the Plumbing Contraction Industry. 4.) To carry on institutional advertising, public relations programs, and promotional activities for he good of the publicand the Plumbing Contracting Industry. 5.) The furtherance of apprenticeship standards and activities. 6.) The encouragement of laws relating to sanitation and the better enforcement thereof. 7.) Educational activities relating to the Plumbing Contracting Industry. Since 1952 PCA has carry-out its mission. The key to PCA's success is the professionalism, experience, expertise and comprehensive training and activities available to its members. Today, PCA, headquartered at 7204 SW 48th Street Miami, FL has 70 members from Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Throughout its history, PCA has held membership meetings at our facility
located in Miami-Dade county, thus showing that PCA reflects the association's
long and fruitful history and that it expects to remain a critical part
of the Miami-Dade construction industry. PCA has a long and successful
history and expects to live up to it for a long time to come. |
